Bethel Music, formed as an organic extension of Bethel Church, represents the worship of the church, which leads a rapidly growing "Global Legacy" association of nearly 2,000 churches around the world. The heart of Bethel Music is to be a steward of the worship being created and released at Bethel church, making it a resource available to the world. In addition to the thousands of people that attend Bethel Church's weekly worship service, another 50,000-plus people tune in each week via the internet to stream portions of the service at www.ibethel.org.
Along with worship leaders Jeremy Riddle, William Matthews, Amanda Falk, and occasionally the artists from Jesus Culture (the 'youth branch' of Bethel Church) such as Kim Walker-Smith and Chris Quilala, Bethel Music's worship is nothing short of powerful. They embrace spontaneous worship and an ushering-in of the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Their latest project, 'Be Lifted High,' once again brings live, powerful, anointed worship. Featuring Brian and Jenn Johnson, Jeremy Riddle, William Mathews and Amanda Falk, Be Lifted High picks up where 'Here Is Love' (Nov 2010) left off. It has come to be expected that Bethel Church produces solid worship that is passionate, deep, and genuine. Be Lifted High follows the tradition with 13 songs recorded live over a series of worship services. The DVD contains bonus material including interviews and personal stories with the worship leaders and team from Bethel. Worship Leader Brian Johnson shares for the first time how the power of praise freed him from years of torment.
